Smart Energy Living Old

Estates in Yarrawonga and Echuca are pioneering a new model for sustainable residential living. Subscribing homes will be equipped with 5kW+ solar, intelligent energy management as part of their builder contract and will have access to community battery storage (where fitted).

Two estates have signed Smart Community Agreements with X2M and are accepting prospective enrolments now.

For residents, X2M Smart Energy runs in the background. Solar panels generate power during the day. The Home Energy Management System automatically optimises when appliances run, pre-heats water and pre-cools rooms while the sun is shining. Excess energy flows to the community battery. Residents can monitor their energy use in real time and see exactly where their power goes.

The result: lower bills, less grid dependence and a smaller carbon footprint — without residents having to do very much.

And there are additional benefits available. X2M Smart Energy subscribers can access discounted home loans through our partner National Australia Bank. A home loan expert is available from NAB for discussions on options available.
